Education Image Gallery

This page is to share developments relating to the Education Image Gallery (EIG), an existing EDINA service and was last updated on 30th August 2011.

The service was discontinued on 31 July 2011, and the content made available solely through JISC MediaHub.

On 1 October 2010 all images in the service were changed. Still-image collections from the Digital Images for Education project (http://imagesforeducation.org.uk) replaced the Getty Images content which was the sole collection between January 2004 and September 2010.

Resubscribing colleges and universities have uninterrupted access to the service.  Other institutions are invited and able to subscribe to the interim service and the first six months of the new Mediahub service, due to launch in early 2011.
