A preview version of the current state of development of JISC MediaHub is being made available from Friday 11th March to sitereps of the current EIG, NFO and FSOL services and other key stakeholders.

JISC MediaHub is still under active development and we are therefore limiting access to the preview and asking testers not to disseminate the URL. However, we know that there will be much wider interest in how MediaHub is developing so we are proud to share an updated preview image of the interface below (click for a larger version):

Users of the MediaHub preview will be able to submit comments via an online survey that will feed into the development process which will be continuing over the next few months.

The initial version of the MediaHub service should be available by the beginning of April
and we will be sharing more information on this, the URL and links to the relevant subscription information then.

Additional functionality will then be added to MediaHub incrementally until its “full” availability on 1 August 2011.

This blog will keep you up to date on significant developments and information – as a taster you will also notice that we have substantially updated the blog today to allow you to find out a little more about the fantastic collections and materials that will be included in the full release of MediaHub in the summer. To find out more click on any collection name or thumbnail for more information and an example item/image.
